The problem with social media is that people on it take half-truths like the T in LGBT ruining women's sports (has happened in a few cases) and exaggerating it to the point where they will make you believe it is happening at such a massive scale that society is on the brink of collapse which is very often not the case. And I partly blame social media because it probably is because of the feedback loop of getting way more likes and attention for giving you the exaggerated rather than the grounded version of these problems.
