I built an AI Sales Engineer
- deleted 2y ago[deleted]
- adilaijaz 2y agoSam is the AI Sales Engineer that reps invite to calls so they don't have to add an SE, just in case things get "technical"
- geogra4 2y agoIt's definitely a use case that's pretty common. I've been in post-sales/tech support most of my career but it's a similar battle. Leads to a lot of waste of technical resource time. Though I think probably being able to point as much as possible to documentation is probably where I would start.
- adilaijaz 2y agoFair usecase. The problem with supporting sales reps is that they need answers, not pointers to documentation. That subtle difference ends up making a significant difference in product direction
- geogra4 2y agoYeah, that makes a lot of sense if they need answers right on the call and not followups later on.
- adam-tecton 2y agoHey, this is neat!
- robkmartin 2y agoUsed this for a few quarters now and have gotten alot of value out of it and saved a bunch of the sales engineering team's time!
- adilaijaz 2y agoThanks a lot for being our customer Robert!

- tunguyen714 2y agoI love the fast product enhancements - adding suggested follow up questions, links to docs, and more importantly, the right amount of detail in answers.
- dmurphy4040 2y agoA great use of generative AI targeted at helping mitigate the seemingly inevitable situation of not having enough SEs to map to sales.
- uri_merhav 2y agoAwesome stuff, looks very cool. I liked their focus on reducing hallucinations, that stuff is often overlooked by people rushing into building AI proof of concepts.
- Youssef1993 2y agoThis looks very promising. SEs availability is definitely a bottleneck in technical sales. I am really happy someone is finally looking at it.
- nitaidean 2y agoClassic case of applying LLMs to a real world business problem. It's exactly the right time to be building something like this, love to see it!
