There is no reason for that arbitrary line to be there except for lobbying by companies like Intuit.
- joezydeco 2y agoFilers above that AGI tend to have more complicated returns. That's all. I don't see a problem with them taking it slow. This system looks really similar to the FAFSA enrollment site, which had trouble in late 2023. Probably explains why this site didn't launch earlier.
- WirelessGigabit 2y agoI meant the post was 1 day too late. But there are many people around me who make > $300,000 married with simple returns. Married filing jointly, 1 state, renting. No reason to be excluded.
