NPR was been a constant presence in my life starting when I was young and continued in to middle age.
But around the time of the pandemic I stopped. I can't put my finger on any one thing but it's no longer a place I go to get information. I've found this is something common in my social circles too.
Not sure I agree with all of the original essay but something changed at NPR and I just don't listen anymore.
