Would the pre-collision avoidance systems that are standard in a lot of vehicles now been able to prevent an accident with this kind of "peek a boo" scenario?
- MBCook 2y agoNo. Mach E has the same thing. They all rely on radar and radar can’t detect stopped objects reliably enough at speed. Way too many false positives. Every vehicle manual will warn you about stopped objects when discussing their system.
