- elif 3y agosuno v3 actually generates some really good music. most genres are more formulaic than people want to believe.
- AlexandrB 3y agoThe real question is who is going to make the next new genre if there's no money in being a musician. You can't tell suno v3 to make a "grunge" song if "grunge" doesn't exist yet.
- bamboozled 3y agoInsert basically anything here. We’re destroying incentives at a rate of knots, oh well…
- fennecbutt 3y agoYeah you can? Similar to how with stable diffusion I can ask for a creature that doesn't exist. Most of human creativity is just evolution is existing stuff after all. Look at all fantasy creatures, they're all based in part off real animals.
- elif 3y agoThis is actually my favorite thing to do in suno. "lowfi, chill, accordion" "breakbeat, doom, xylophone" You can literally invent 4 genres in parallel in 10 seconds.
- Jensson 3y ago> most genres are more formulaic than people want to believe. The biggest crime is copyrighting the best intro chord sequences in the 1960's, and since then everyone has to make slight variations or they would be called out for copying. We can't make good music today due to copyrights...
- Pine_Mushroom 3y agoChord sequences are not subject to copyright.
- Jensson 3y agoWhat else stops people from playing the first 10 seconds from a song? Its just a few chords in a sequence. The reason I've heard people don't do that is that they will get a copyright strike.
- Pine_Mushroom 3y agoI would think maybe this is a 'hack' to avoid bots that scan for copyrighted material?
- anigbrowl 3y agoI hope this is a joke
- CuriouslyC 3y agoIt's more about raising the quality floor.
