Something Went Terribly Wrong with Online Ads
- add-sub-mul-div 3y agoThe most innocuous ads left are the 3-4 minute commercial breaks you can mute or skip on a DVR. The most important difference with streaming is that control of the video stream has gone from the viewer to the provider. I'd cancel cable if commercials became unskippable. Sports have become unwatchable everywhere though because the announcers read micro ads between pitches, plays, whenever they can. You can't skip those like you can the longer breaks.
