Ask HN: Who is excited for OpenAI's Sora?
It is amazing to see how far AI has come where now anyone can be a hollywood style filmmaker and the barriers to entry are now lowered because of technologies such as Sora.
I have never been more excited about this and the new possibilities this would bring to content creation.
Who else is excited about this?
- photoGrant 3y agoAI Profiteers are excited. Everyone else is annoyed.
- colesantiago 3y agoI don't this would happen, I am sure that the costs to generate video would be hard for people to try and profiteer off of. Besides, OAI can watermark the entire video so it's obvious that it's AI generated :)
