Surveillance like that is not unreasonable. The part that has gotten the intelligence services in hot water is doing quite broad surveillance like that without good reason.
You can surveil a mosque if you suspect it to be a meeting ground for terrorists. You cannot surveil a mosque just because you feel like it.
- nonethewiser 3y agoThat's not quite the implication of the article though. If you need good cause to surveil a community and individuals then the fact that its a community is irrelevant.
- Doxin 3y agoI'll be honest, I've not read this specific article. The topic was all over the news for a few days here though so I've read plenty about the issue.
