Quartz – PKM Oriented SSG for Markdown
- neets 3y agoI tried Quartz and didn’t like the RBAC and url generation so wrote my own SSG.[1] Every markdown doc gets assigned a UUID and a variable for weather it is shared or not. The site is built on mkdocs. My wiki is published using it https://ddaemon.org https://ddaemon.org , https://IPFS.ddaemon.org https://IPFS.ddaemon.org 1. https://github.com/dentropy/obsidian-publisher https://github.com/dentropy/obsidian-publisher
- jacknews 3y agoI'm sure the title makes sense to it's intended audience, but maybe we could have something more generic for us generalist techs? I mean when I click to the github, there's no mention of 'PKM' or 'SSG' whatever those are, but a fairly clear explanation that it publishes your markdown personal notes as a website or something similar: Quartz is a set of tools that helps you publish your digital garden and notes as a website for free.
- camgunz 3y agoI knew SSG was static site generator, but I had to think really hard about PKM. My guess now is "Personal Knowledge Management"
- sergiomattei 3y agoWow, this is great! Exactly what I was looking for. I don’t use Obsidian, so independent tools like this are welcome.
