I've only seen examples of people working or watching movies using the Apple Vision Pro. If this is the only use case, it's not worth the money.
I have a Meta quest 2 and I've been using it to work out and play games for a couple of years now. These are pretty much the two use cases for VR right now and I don't see Apple lasting long in the market them.
- MBCook 3y agoToday is the FOURTH DAY since it came out. Yeesh. Give it time. It’s a totally new way of computing for effectively everyone, and nearly no one could develop on one until it was released outside of Apple and maybe a few ultra-trusted partners. It’s going to take longer than 4 days for people to find what it’s good at besides TV/movies.
- billy99k 3y agoMy point is there is no library available, even with better technology. The use case Apple seems to be pushing is for work and movies.
