How did China come to dominate the world of electric cars?
- PaulHoule 3y ago... not insisting on selling XXL trucks and SUVs that cost $70k+ It was genius when Tesla started selling luxury electric vehicles as it broke the old assumption people had from the 1970s that electric cars were going to be glorified golf carts. GM could have joined the party too but they waited a decade and it's too late. Sometimes I wonder if the real problem w/ high CEO pay is that the people who make decisions just don't understand what people at the 99% percentile can afford never mind 95%, 90%, 80% or 50%.
- tahoeskibum 3y agoIt is fascinating how this article on dominance of EVs doesn't talk about the world's #1 manufacturer and innovator of EVs: a small American company called Tesla.
- Barrin92 3y agoIt literally does? The name Tesla occurs in the piece no less than 13 times.
- quantified 3y agoPrescient central planning.
