Cars? Hahaha. I feel like the difference is: Planes: sometimes pilot error, often mechanical/maintenance. Almost never because the pilot is flying like a wanker. Cars: sometimes driver error/inexperience, sometimes mechanical/maintenance, almost always because the driver is driving like a wanker.
