- unsupp0rted 3y agoWhy doesn’t the King of Canada simply order the government of Canada to cut out the hormones and drop the tariffs? Every MP in Canada swears an oath to the crown. Every new citizen does too: > I swear (or affirm) that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors
- drtgh 3y ago>Canada has been pushing for the UK to relax a ban on hormone-treated beef, which its producers say in effect shuts them out of the British market. I didn't expect hormone-treated beef to be allowed in Canada, and to top it all off, trying to get other countries to consume it. They lose my confidence.
