  > People are out of ideas. This seems like a non sequitor. Highly paid people don't mind when a big chunk comes out of the bottom line after making choices, as long as they aren't vilified. The Daily Show has been unwatchable since Noah started, imo. The switchup is implied to blamed on the leadership (producers), rather than admitting he's not as likeable or savvy as Stewart. Stewart is still considered favored, so he's going to take over part of it.
