- nuker 3y agoSpecs plz :) Do you have PCI slots? Is PS2 mouse port present? I had to find serial mouse, A4Tech one, with the ball :) No USB lol
- wkjagt 3y agoNo PCI, but I do have VLB. Graphics card and IO card are in VLB slots. I have 20MB RAM. For storage I’ve gone through several old hard drives but they all ended up failing. So I went with a CF card to IDE adapter. Mouse is serial, because I don’t have PS/2. I use a nice mechanical keyboard with a USB to PS/2 and then PS/2 to 5 pin DIN keyboard connector adapter. I also have a gotek floppy emulator on it. I mostly use this computer to play around with Borland C++.
- nuker 3y ago> So I went with a CF card to IDE adapter. No no no. The sound is irreplaceable. I ended up with FUJITSU MPB3043AT. Tried Quantum Fireball 2GB but it was too noisy.
- wkjagt 3y agoYeah I do miss the sound :-( it feels fake without it. But I ran out of hard drives… EDIT: I do have an 80MB MFM drive but that would be weird.
- NoGravitas 3y agoDX2/66 will run Windows 95 if you have enough memory, but it's absolutely stellar with OS/2 Warp.
- wkjagt 3y agoThanks for the new rabbit hole ;-)
