These kind of users do not matter, they are just there to complain about some random detail to make them feel important. If it wasn't this, it would be something else.
Every app has those and that's why you get nudged about giving a review when you are using an app, because otherwise only these entitled users would give one.
- add-sub-mul-div 3y agoCounterpoint: These kinds of users do matter but happen to have an idea that you and I don't agree with. Reducing them to that one idea and making up a whole persona for them that encompasses what you hate just perpetuates a corrosive cycle.
- realusername 3y agoThose users don't care much about the ideas, this is where the mistake is, what they want is attention. And they get this attention by ranking low stars (which prompts a dev reply) and commenting on some random very specific detail (which should again should prompt a reply). Every app has those. Those types of users are very different from the feature requests. Those users are the "call your manager!" of the digital world.
- dawatchusay 3y agoAre you trolling? “Race” here means what piece of code completes the fastest. Can we also not say “I’ve mastered the violin”?
