Also yes. There is something lost in ultra-reliable modern tech. Computers that would boot with a random driver suddenly failing or package missing would be annoying in the moment, but also a rewarding opportunity to fix. These quirks gave old tech an organic flair, like an old Italian car. Like, let's see if this thing will start today.
