Every time I see a color-cycling example, it's this pretty waterfall picture. Does anyone know what game it was originally from?

- corysama 15y agoI don't think it's from a game. I think the pics are all stand-alone paintings from Mark Ferrari http://www.markferrari.com/ http://www.markferrari.com/ He worked on several classic PC games http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,6000/ http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,60...
- jonah 15y agoIt's the monthly art from a calendar app.
- corysama 15y agoAnd here it is: http://www.iangilman.com/software/seizetheday.php http://www.iangilman.com/software/seizetheday.php Link from the bottom of a technical interview about the pics: http://www.effectgames.com/effect/article.psp.html/joe/Q_A_with_Mark_J_Ferrari http://www.effectgames.com/effect/article.psp.html/joe/Q_A_w...
- paulgerhardt 15y agoFrom the interview [1] - twelve of the images were originally used in a calendar application called "Seize the Day" [2][3] and later modified and used again in "Magic the Gathering: BattleMage". Other images were concepts for games that never made it to production. - BinaryBullet 15y agoI've seen this image a bunch as well, and was almost sure it was from a game/demo I remembered on the Commodore64. I saw the comments in this thread saying it was from "Sieze the Day", so I spent a few minutes trying to find the Commodore64 demo I remembered from my childhood (because I thought it had the most amazing graphics at the time). Anyways, after 5 minutes of searching, I found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZ7UDnJF3kk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZ7UDnJF3kk (Jim Sachs Time Crystal demo) Funny how warped my memory of this is. Still an awesome demo for it's time. I always wanted that to be a real game...
