Alternate theory: gains are going to smaller and smaller numbers of individuals over the years.
Thoughts?
- kasey_junk 3y agoWhich gains? Wage gains are up for the first time since the 70s and it’s concentrated at the bottom of the wage curve. There is increasing wealth disparity which maybe contributes? I’m not a an expert on economic sentiment but it seems surprising that the wealthy getting a little more wealthy as a % of the economy would have broad sentiment effects, but perhaps.
