- imtringued 3y agoAnd to be precise it is not the aspartame itself but its metabolisation into methanol, which is known to have toxic byproducts to the neurological development of a fetus. So what is surprising here isn't the effect itself (the wrong vaccines studies supposedly show a novel effect in comparison), but the fact that aspartame is the one of the biggest sources of methanol.
