Yeah. But end goal of engineering is to improve life. You have only 1 life. Europe >>> USA quality of living.

    Not really because you'll still get paid a European salary. In fact that's really the worst of both worlds - European salary but American pressure.

  That depends on how much you make in the USA. I doubt 300k+ engineers are going to accept 80-120k euros for the same job in Europe. I make around 100k USD working in Norway as a research scientist. I doubt I'm going to be able to increase my salary anymore than that in my current job. Maybe I could get more managing an industrial lab.

    The universe was created without my help. Humanity survived till 21st century without my help. I am sure the world will do just fine with me working in Europe instead of US. I am sure it will do fine when I am dead. I will focus on helping myself as the first priority. Thanks.
