- sargstuff 3y agoYes, but a working concept for sql duplicate database & populate was to automate the 'populate with just relevant data needed. Potential for github pulls/pushes of databases with 'select' relevant data to push/provide via sql. Bit easier to think of it as method(s) needed to make dbms a replacement for OS where duplicate dbms is equivalent to exec a shell with relevant copy of files.
- sargstuff 3y agoWhat about dbms system call wrapper to advanced OS concepts? aka meet on mountain slopes to spin up herds of select ram (disk) copies. The dbms version of OS dining philosopers.[0] Lot less haskell. [0] : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dining_philosophers_problem https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dining_philosophers_problem
