I think articles like this highlight the lowest 0.1% though. It's picking a particular low point throughout thousands of years of history.
- kadoban 3y agoIs it? Or is it just picking a point in space and time that has a lot of data to back it up? I would not expect this to have been out of the norm for the time. Slavery and cruelty were very common.
