Indeed; this is why washing hands with soap is effective even though the soap doesn't kill the pathogens.
- haldujai 3y agoThe drying is probably the more effective part for mechanical disruption. Similarly why bleach wipes > soaking in bleach for disinfecting surfaces, as alluded to in this paper.
