Different question: if they are serious about 'AGI', do these engineers and businesspeople think the government will just stand by letting them do what they want as they kick off a potentially dangerous international arms race?
The public mission statement sounds ridiculously naive.
Maybe ex-Jane Street?
- ilaksh 3y agoI think despite what the leaders say, the only way to avoid the arms race is to have real political integration. Which seems very unlikely at this point.
- uxhacker 3y agoBut what is to stop them creating a parallel political structure of non-dividend shares given to a selection of people from different backgrounds and nationalities to hold the board accountable?
