Looks like I will be telling Windows that I live in the EEA next time I install.
- crunchyfrog 3y agoI too will only install Windows in Ireland from now on.
- extraduder_ire 3y agoUnless they changed something substantial, that is where you buy it from.
- josephcsible 3y agoI predict that Microsoft will soon create something equivalent to Apple's "countryd", with the sole purpose of preventing people outside of the EU from having access to this.
- mrweasel 3y agoIt's an interesting approach. I might be remembering incorrectly, but last time Microsoft created a "stripped down" version of Windows it was pretty much impossible to actually buy.
- benhurmarcel 3y agoIt already works to select "English (Europe)" as the region.
