Our internet traffic has been hoovered up at the telco for decades (and shared with several other governments), our cars tell half a dozen "partners" which businesses we visit, our phones keep track of who we are in proximity to and report it all back to the world's largest ad company, and opening a brokerage account to buy stock involves scanning both my face and driver's license, but this is what would be going too far?
