It displayed for a moment but then failed. I guess Progressive Enhancement is no longer cool.
- FractalHQ 3y agoYou are browsing the web via a graphical user interface with web graphics library disabled and complaining that you can’t see graphics?
- Kiuhrly1 3y agoThere are ways of putting graphics on screen without requiring users to have WebGL enabled/supported. I think my mobile browser has it disabled for security.
- replete 3y agoYou are on Hacker News but being dumb?
- FractalHQ 3y agoHah that actually hurt my feelings, touché! My regretfully obnoxious tone was inspired by my love for WebGL. It bums me out that people abuse it to the point that the most privacy and security obsessed folks disable it altogether. I apologize for the snark, it was unwarranted. I spend a lot of time building stuff with WebGL, and it pains me to know that all my work could be for naught. I’m curious, why do you personally reject WebGL?
- replete 3y agoWell your response did not exactly incentivize me to respond with sincerity. You're right though, I'm an idiot for having user preferences!
