What release cadence? One a year?
- dual_dingo 3y agoThis is the second generation of Macbook Pro this year. The M2Pro/Max where introduced only in January.
- tetrisgm 3y agoAs the other person said, it's been 9 months since the m2. You don't need to defend Apple here. They'll be fine. It's OK to question this.
- lotsofpulp 3y agoWhy should anyone care how often a business sells a newer product?
- breakfastduck 3y agoWell it's frustrating that basically no matter how close you buy a device to launch it's almost immediately invalidated. I got an M2 max 3 months ago and it's already last gen...
- lotsofpulp 3y agoWhat is the definition of invalidated? I am assuming your machine is still capable at doing what it did 3 months ago.
- resharpe105 3y agoMy guess: It’s not the shiniest, newest toy model anymore. Many people want the latest greatest just for the sake of having it.
- breakfastduck 3y agoI do understand my machine is still (more than) capable. But it is frustrating when the release cycle is so rapid, it's not just a desire for 'latest and greatest', it's an almost immediate loss of bang for buck unless you buy it basically immediately. They released the M2 max less than a year ago.
- zapzupnz 3y agoI wasn’t defending anything, I didn’t realise it was that recent. Way to assume, though. Really engaging in good faith, mate.
