Apple to Sell Low-Cost 12-Inch and 13-inch MacBooks for $700 or Less

So they are gonna destroy the brand so no one will going to buy Macs anymore?

How so? I had two 11" Airs and the 12" Macbook and haven't bought a Macbook since they stopped manufacturing small laptops. Right now I'm carrying 10gen iPad but it's not the same.

"Ailing shipments" yes I wonder why... Selling your base model with only 8GB tells me how serious they are about consumers The feature/price gap seems smaller on the iPhone than it is on Mac and as much as Windows 11 makes a big effort to be awful, I'm not sure it's worth the price difference

Call me a smart, informed shopper but I don't consider $700 "low cost" for this laptop.
