As someone who does CAD work (product design) every day, I'm curious about the use case? Starting with Surfaces (in Creo, at least) can be provide such flexibility.
- amelius 3y agoI don't have a practical usecase, it's just the fact that most CAD software is not mathematically correct that bothers me.
- dymk 3y agoAs far as I'm aware, we do not have the math needed to do what you're imagining. CSG requires a lot of numerical methods even for relatively simple operations.
