Do you need to power it through the casing? I thought all modern phones come pre-charged from the factory.
- sircastor 3y agoThey do, but you don’t want to risk a power failure during the update. It’s penalty not totally unrecoverable, but certainly not something you want the customer to open the box to.
- MBCook 3y agoIt might not be charged enough that they’d want to do it without external power depending on how long that particular box has been sitting on the shelf.
