- Dylan16807 3y agoThey're looking at DOCSIS 3.1 "up to 10 Gbit/s downstream and 1 Gbit/s upstream" Most of the 4.0 improvement is upload. 3.1 wouldn't do 2Gbps symmetrical, but it would do 2Gbps down with a reasonable up.
