Canvas 2D obviously can't compete with this, but what about WebGL? Does WebGL beat Flash in graphics quality/unit of performance? I'm not sure it can. I believe NaCl can do it, though.
- Skrekkpus 15y agoThere have been a few performance tests and they indicate that it is very even. WebGL still has no chance in my opinion because there are no good development tools (compare that to unity3D), also WebGL apparently has the biggest security issues of all plugins at the moment because it allows web apps full access to graphics memory and graphics drivers.
