- dekhn 3y agoI would expect algae and cyanobacteria to survive just about anything less than a truly destructive solar-system event (they are photoautotrophs and their nutrient needs are met pretty easily). If algae survives, then tardigrades probably survive too. Wait a billion years and the marine microorganisms will even replenish the oil supplies, too.
