Somehow doubt they will actually pay a penny of it though.
- cbg0 3y agoWhy would you doubt it? Unless tiktok wins in court, the EU could remove them from all the app stores if they don't pay up.
- Filligree 3y agoTikTok also has accounts and real estate in the EU, which can be seized. It’s not a good idea to play chicken with a continent.
- DarkmSparks 3y agothey moved everything to London in 2020. Bytedance are already under US and EU sanctions.
