For those about to make the same mistake I was - this data is NOT about the 9/11 attacks, it just happened to be released on this date

- nerdponx 3y agoPresumably the hacker chose the date on purpose.
- nonethewiser 3y agoBut… isnt that the whole story? That it happened to be on the same day.
- ysavir 3y agoYeah, but they could have worded it more clearly. "FBI Hacker Dropped Stolen Airbus Data on Sept 11th Anniversary" or something.
- userbinator 3y agoAll the planes involved in the attacks were Boeings, not Airbuses.
- netsharc 3y agoTo me "9/11" is the 2001 attacks, yeah Krebs being clickbaity there, would he have titled it "... Stolen Airbus data on 9/8" if it happened a few days earlier? No, because the date isn't that significant to be in the title..
