    I read that as "good for users". To answer that: Can't think of any (beyond small iterative improvements in their products). The problem is that the users don't pay Google (by and large), so their financial success is quite decoupled from that, inverse proportional even.

    Not everything in life needs to lead to profit. And indeed those that do are oft paved with bad decisions who harm numerous if not millions of people.
