It’s not “confiscating passports” level but it’s definitely exploitative.
- firtoz 3y agoIt happens in the UK too. For example a friend of mine was taken advantage of by the boss who was not hesitant at all to remind her that her existence in the country depended on his approval; so she had to do long hours with unreasonable tasks for little pay.
