If Reddit is racist, every place is racist. If racism is the natural condition of humanity, and you need ocean-boiling engines of censorship constantly watching and suppressing content to shape it into some bonsai fiction of humanity that pleases certain people, then we don't deserve otherwise. I'd rather arrive at that pretty bonsai of humanity through education of society at a massive scale than censorship at a massive scale.
