- op00to 3y agoI worked in a lab doing cancer detection via image AI (mammograms, mri, etc) back in 2008 or so, and even then we knew that mammography didn't save lives.
- haldujai 3y agoRead all of the caveats. None of this is still relevant. Cancer-specific mortality is definitely reduced. There is no study powered enough to draw conclusions on all-cause mortality, which may not be the best measure anyway.
