    Which is okay if they’re doing that from the start. They’re not waiting 9 years switching it after hundreds of thousands of free contributions.

      or, even worse, claiming that other vendors are not upstreaming "material changes" (or whatever the fuck their sleazy phrasing was), while having 200+ PRs in limbo and a "note" in their contributing FAQ about basically pausing PR reviews.
