That's already what I am somehow doing. I always think twice before opening a link. Reddit mastodon lemmy etc already sanitize websites I read, and often I just read the comments, not the article. Often people quote important parts of the article in the comments. Ad blockers is like an antibiotic, I use them but I also try to not expose myself to germs.
