I have a two year old also with zero minutes total. Why do you say the challenge is daunting? Was raising kids ever not was a lot of work? It hasn't become more difficult to raise kids, it's just that easier alternatives appeared.

It hasn't become more difficult to raise kids, it's just that easier alternatives appeared As a former 80s kids, I’m going to push back on this notion a bit: our parents were infamous for getting away with minimal parenting in general (and mine definitely did). TV, video games, playing at the local abandoned industrial site, was all on the table, it’s a wonder we survived.
- pizzafeelsright 3y agoPerhaps I was being generous to others. At the moment the kid is learning the querty layout. Typing letters in an ultra large font while asking me how to spell words. I will add that I am navigating these waters as someone who had far too much exposure to TV, video games, computers, and Internet since the modem days. I am mostly indifferent to the medium but I am hoping to build the social connections as well as the creative and builder mindset and not just consumer of content.
