Why not get the package added to backports and then instructing users to update? This happens with tons of other similar packages.
- oefrha 3y agoIt was a long time ago so my memory is fuzzy, I think the DD did briefly touch on that option, but nothing came of it. As a user who has used backports a few times, the experience isn’t that great since it needs to be explicitly configured.
