- haldujai 3y agoI went through this the other day, archive.today mirrors don't play nice with CloudFlare DNS (iCloud Private Relay also uses CloudFlare for DNS). Either VPN or change your DNS to some other provider and clear the local cache.

- boeingUH60 3y agoIsn't this clickbait? They found one engineering job at Netflix, a company already known for paying exceedingly high salaries, and they turned it into a headline. I don't think it's news that tech companies pay high salaries for professionals...it was even higher during the 2020-21 bubble. Besides, the job posting said up to $900k. Next headline at WSJ; The $10M CEO Job Is Here.
- bogantech 3y agoI wish I was in the position to not be shocked by a salary of almost a million USD.
- purpleflame1257 3y agoThis ignores that Netflix lists salaries like this to "comply" with the CA law requiring companies to list salary ranges.
- gordon_freeman 3y agothere is something wrong with the CA law if companies can post jobs with such huge salary range?
- simne 3y agoAs I understand, companies just hide too large salary because of high taxes. So they could really pay very large money, but in some in-directional way. For example, they could give worker "blue chips" for payment amount.
