My guess is social media is next.
- foobiekr 3y agoThe money in social media (and adjacent things, like Google's ad business) is too large. It corrupts the users and also the non-amoral engineers who build those companies. Just look at any thread on the harms of social media for lessons in excuse making, whataboutism and deflection.

- animal_spirits 3y agoWe could say the same thing with tobacco
- foobiekr 3y agoNormal people do.
- gilmore606 3y ago> money in [pornography] (and adjacent things...) is too large How can this even be true? As a wise man once said, I type big booba in google and get million result.
- shrimp_emoji 3y agoIn moral terms, money is apparently more evil than lust. :p
- crickey 3y agoWhat research has happened that has changed our outlook on porn. Not counting suedo selfhelp gurus. Seems to me conservative trend.
- KyleBerezin 3y agoI'm not trying to be "that guy", but it is 'pseudo'. I only say that because I was sitting here googling the meaning of 'suedo' like a dope. I thought it might have something to do with leather.
- watwut 3y agoAfaik there was no such research. Also, people freaked out about sexuality pretty much all the time, just not necessary where 13 years old hang out.
- LatteLazy 3y agoNo one has actually done that research, yet everyone is sure it exists...
