I upvoted it mostly because it was a relatively well argued article about a subject I disagreed with.
I think that it pushes far too hard on pyschotherapy and depression when the evidence suggests that pretty much all treatments for depression suck.
- cubefox 3y agoWell, it says in the beginning that criticism of depression medication is common, which is why they focus on psychotherapy.
- disgruntledphd2 3y agoSpeaking as someone with a PhD in psychology, criticism of therapy is probably more common (and longer going) than criticism of SSRIs.
