I've literally included the search terms I used to ensure it wasn't a duplicate. Other times ice explained why this is clearly not a duplicate . Nope. Closed for being a duplicate.
- lopis 3y agoSometimes it can be as simple as "version 2 of this software does things this way, but I'm using version 14, how can I do this?". "Closed as duplicate: [question from 12 years ago]".
- pasc1878 3y agoI now only use a smaller sites and you just mark these to be reopened. The issue is that all users are moderators and the newcomers are the ones not reading questions etc. I would flag this sort of thing for a real moderator.
